"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:19-20)
"But you will recieve power when the Holy Spirit comes on you and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." (Acts 1:8)
Our desire at Crosshaven Church is to turn the church inside out. We want to get outside the walls of the church and love people and share the only thing with them that will change their lives.
A little bit about our missions ministry...
LOCAL MISSIONS - Crosshaven is involved locally with our Give Back Hanceville missions focus (serving Hanceville with year-round missions opportunities), The Pantry (our food ministry located here on campus - open on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month), The Link of Cullman County, Foundry Farm, and First Source for Women. Our LifeGroups also serve together on local missions projects.
NATIONAL MISSIONS - While Crosshaven has been involved in many national mission trips and partnerships over the years, our current strategic partnership is with Navajo Nation in Gallup, New Mexico. We send teams and partner in mission projects to serve the church plants in Church Rock.
INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS - Crosshaven supports the International Mission Board and serves as a partner church with our missionaries in the Amazon Basin in Pucallpa, Peru. We send teams and partner in mission projects to reach the unreached tribes of the Amazon.
Crosshaven serves as a local drop-off center for Operation Christmas Child each year and tries to find multiple opportunities to serve our local schools througout the year.
